About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Workday HRIS Manager to join a forward-thinking organisation preparing for a major Workday transformation.

As a Workday HRIS Manager, you will play a critical role in leading the administration, optimisation, and ongoing enhancement of Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) systems. You will partner closely with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, efficient HR technology solutions that support a large and evolving workforce.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a Workday Go-Live and post-implementation journey, shaping how HR systems drive business performance.

Key Responsibilities

HRIS Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of HRIS professionals
  • Provide performance management, coaching, and development planning
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment
  • Oversee HRIS operations, prioritisation, and delivery of system initiatives

Workday HRIS Management & Configuration

  • Act as a subject matter expert for Workday HCM, Talent, and Performance Management
  • Lead configuration and optimisation of Workday Talent and Performance processes
  • Support and enhance Compensation Review cycles, including Core and Advanced Compensation
  • Drive implementation of new Workday features, enhancements, and releases
  • Ensure system stability post-Go-Live and lead continuous improvement efforts

Stakeholder Collaboration & Solution Delivery

  • Serve as the key liaison between HR (People teams) and IT
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (HR, Finance, IT) to gather and translate business requirements
  • Lead system upgrades, testing cycles, data conversions, and training initiatives
  • Identify opportunities for automation, efficiency, and process improvement
  • Analyse end-to-end HR processes and resolve system or operational issues

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of HRIS experience, including 3+ years in HRIS management
  • Strong hands-on experience with Workday HCM
  • Proven experience leading HRIS projects (implementations, upgrades, integrations)
  • Experience configuring Workday Talent Management, particularly Performance Reviews
  • Strong understanding of HR processes, including:

    • Talent Acquisition
    • Talent Development
    • Compensation
