About the Opportunity

We are looking for a talented Workday Developer to join a growing technology team delivering enterprise-level Workday solutions.

As a Workday Developer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and optimising integrations and custom applications across the Workday platform, including HCM, Financials, Projects, and Adaptive Planning. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex systems that directly support critical HR and finance operations.

Key Responsibilities

Workday Development & Integrations

  • Design, build, test, and deploy Workday integrations using:
    • Workday Studio
    • EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder)
    • Core Connectors
    • Document Transformations (XSLT)
  • Develop and maintain integrations between Workday and external/internal systems
  • Build and deploy Workday Extend applications
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Workday configurations, integrations, and data flows
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with best practices

Workday Integrations & Development

  • Design, build, test, and deploy Workday integrations using:
    • Workday Studio
    • EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder)
    • Core Connectors
    • Document Transformations (XSLT)
  • Develop integrations between Workday and third-party systems (payroll, finance, vendors, internal platforms)
  • Build and deploy Workday Extend applications
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to integrations, configurations, and data flow
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with governance standards

Collaboration & Solution Design

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation and process improvement
  • Provide technical expertise during Workday implementations, including for newly acquired business units
  • Stay up to date with Workday releases and recommend enhancements

Testing, Support & Documentation

  • Participate in system testing, data validation, and migration activities
  • Support end users and resolve technical issues efficiently
  • Document technical designs, integrations, and configurations
  • Promote consistent, scalable, and repeatable processes across the Workday platform
  • Advocate for Workday development and integration best practices

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of IT experience, including 3+ years as a Workday Developer
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Workday Studio
    • EIB & Core Connectors
    • XSLT, XML, and data transformation
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Workday architecture and data model
    • Security model (roles, groups, permissions)
    • Business process framework
  • Experience integrating Workday with third-party systems
