About the Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Manager, Workday (Finance / ERP) to lead the design, optimisation, and delivery of enterprise-level Workday solutions.

 If you’re a strategic thinker with deep functional and technical Workday expertise; particularly in Finance or ERP domains; this could be an excellent fit.

As a Senior Manager, Workday, you will be responsible for evaluating, designing, and implementing scalable Workday solutions that drive operational excellence. You will act as a subject matter expert across key domains such as Finance, Payroll, HCM, Spend, or Technology, while also leading a team of Workday professionals.

This role blends hands-on configuration and solution design with team leadership and stakeholder engagement, making it ideal for someone who thrives in both strategic and operational environments.

Key Responsibilities

Workday Product Ownership & Solution Design

  • Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of complex Workday solutions
  • Act as a subject matter expert across Workday modules (Finance, Payroll, HCM, etc.)
  • Translate business requirements into scalable system capabilities
  • Drive continuous improvement across Workday processes and functionality
  • Perform testing for upgrades, enhancements, and break-fix solutions
  • Manage and resolve support tickets, ensuring timely issue resolution

Stakeholder Management & Business Engagement

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and validate requirements
  • Communicate project updates, risks, and timelines effectively
  • Facilitate stakeholder alignment and prioritisation discussions
  • Build strong relationships with business leaders and end users
  • Support change management, training, and adoption of new features

Team Leadership & Operations

  • Lead and mentor a team of Workday professionals
  • Oversee task prioritisation, workflow management, and delivery timelines
  • Identify skill gaps and support team development through training
  • Ensure consistent delivery standards across analysis, testing, and support

Required Skills & Experience

  • 7+ years of Workday experience (implementation or sustainment)
  • 10+ years of business operations experience (Finance, ERP, or related)
  • 3+ years of people management experience
  • Strong expertise in Workday Financials / FDM (Financial Data Model)
  • Proven ability to design, configure, and troubleshoot complex Workday solutions
