Position Overview
The Vice President of Talent Acquisition will be responsible for shaping and executing a global recruitment vision that ensures the organization attracts, hires, and retains top talent across all business functions. Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer, this executive leader will design strategies that strengthen the employer brand, improve the candidate experience, and build a diverse, sustainable talent pipeline to support long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and drive a global talent acquisition strategy that aligns with organizational priorities and business goals.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing recruiting team, fostering collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
  • Partner with executives and senior leaders to anticipate workforce needs, provide market intelligence, and ensure hiring practices support organizational values.
  • Elevate the employer brand through creative outreach, partnerships, and candidate engagement initiatives.
  • Design and refine selection processes to consistently deliver high-quality hires.
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion by implementing strategies that expand candidate reach and representation.
  • Oversee recruiting efforts for a wide range of professional and leadership roles across multiple disciplines.
  • Measure and report on recruiting effectiveness through KPIs and data-driven insights; continuously optimize processes.
  • Manage relationships with external recruiting partners, agencies, and universities.
  • Oversee internship, early-career, and contingent workforce programs.
  • Ensure compliance with employment regulations, immigration requirements, and internal hiring standards.
  • Drive adoption and optimization of applicant tracking systems and recruiting technology.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders on relocation support and global mobility needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, including at least 5 years leading teams.
  • Proven ability to recruit for complex, global, and creative industries; retail or consumer-focused experience is advantageous.
  • Strong executive presence, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated success implementing recruitment strategies in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
  • Experience in global or matrix organizations strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with ATS platforms and digital recruiting tools.
  • Knowledge of employment regulations and best practices.
  • Exceptional leadership, coaching, and team-building capabilities.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into strategy.
