Overview
The VP of Marketing will lead the centralized marketing team and transform the function into a strategic growth driver for the organization. This leader will oversee digital marketing, content development, creative/brand design, and external/internal communications. The ideal candidate is a forward-thinking, B2B-oriented strategist with agency experience who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and can elevate marketing capabilities across multiple functions and industries we service.
Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with business goals and positions the company to retain and acquire customers.
  • Break down silos across seven marketing areas (digital, content, creative, communications, PR/events, brand, and sales support) to ensure alignment and consistency.
  • Partner with multiple executive leadership to support enterprise-wide goals.

Digital & Growth Marketing

  • Lead website redevelopment (HubSpot-hosted) to drive ROI, lead generation, and improved customer experience.
  • Oversee digital campaigns, social media presence (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn), and vendor-managed ad programs.
  • Leverage analytics and CRM tools to measure impact and refine strategy.

Content, Creative & Communications

  • Guide development of sales collateral, one-pagers, case studies, white papers, and thought leadership content.
  • Oversee creative team producing design, video, and brand assets.
  • Manage external communications, including PR, brand reputation, newsletters, and employee engagement.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a centralized marketing team of directors, designers, strategists, and content specialists (mix of remote and hybrid staff).
  • Foster a collaborative, solutions-oriented culture that thrives on quick problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional teamwork.
  • Provide a fresh perspective and modernize the marketing function with innovative practices and tools.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience, ideally in B2B.
  • Proven track record leading website overhauls digital marketing initiatives that drive measurable ROI.
  • Strong ability to manage diverse projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Expertise CRM systems, ideally HubSpot.
  • Strong communicator and relationship-builder; able to manage multiple executives and complex stakeholder needs.
  • Experience managing hybrid teams and fostering collaborative, supportive environments.
