About the Opportunity
TalentoHC has partnered with a NYC-based fashion manufacturer that is seeking a Senior Director of Business Development for its Global Licensing department. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in the fashion and lifestyle sector and the ability to drive aggressive growth through strategic partnerships and licensing deals. This individual will be a true dealmaker and business builder, responsible for identifying, negotiating, and closing global licensing opportunities that expand multiple brands’ reach and revenue. The ideal candidate is a hunter with a strong sales mindset — someone who thrives on building relationships, opening new doors, and structuring creative licensing agreements across international markets. This role requires an entrepreneurial leader who understands both brand integrity and commercial opportunity.

Key Responsibilities
• Identify and secure new global licensing partnerships across fashion, accessories, footwear, and lifestyle categories
• Act as a primary deal negotiator, structuring and closing complex licensing agreements
• Drive revenue growth through strategic brand extensions and collaborations
• Build and manage relationships with licensees, retailers, and international partners
• Partner with product, marketing, and brand teams to ensure licensing programs align with brand strategy
• Evaluate market opportunities and lead negotiations across North America, Europe, Asia, and emerging markets

Qualifications
• 10+ years of licensing experience, ideally within fashion, apparel, accessories, or lifestyle brands
• Proven ability to source, negotiate, and close high-value licensing deals
• Strong network across licensees, retailers, and global brand partners
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a hunter mentality and strong sales instincts
• Experience structuring global licensing programs and partnerships
• Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills
