Talento is actively partnered with a financial institution actively seeking a Sr. Credit Analyst to join their organization.
Summary:
Support the SVP Credit Risk Manager in underwriting large, complex syndicated and bilateral credit facilities for major domestic and international corporate clients across diverse industries. Serve as a backup in the SVP’s absence and provide oversight and guidance to junior analysts.
Key Responsibilities:

Analyze borrower financials, industry dynamics, and loan structures to assess creditworthiness and recommend risk ratings.

Prepare detailed credit memos and present findings to credit committees.

Monitor borrower performance, financial trends, and regulatory compliance.

Participate in structuring discussions, client calls, and lender meetings.

Use financial tools (e.g., Bloomberg, S&P, Moody’s) for market analysis and benchmarking.

Identify credit risks and policy exceptions; propose appropriate mitigants.

Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to internal and external regulatory guidelines.

Mentor junior analysts and assist with audits, reviews, and regulatory exams.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

Minimum 10 years of credit analysis experience in U.S. financial institutions.

Strong knowledge of credit risk, financial modeling, and U.S. banking regulations.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Proficient in industry-standard tools and platforms.
