Site Operations Manager

OVERVIEW
Talento has partnered with a global supply chain leader to find a Site Operations Manager to oversee daily operations, ensure safety and support team growth. This role drives performance and continuous improvement by enforcing processes, resolving issues and maintaining strong customer communication. With a focus on empathy and accountability, the Site Manager fosters a people-first culture aligned with company values.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and develop team members in alignment with company values and strategic goals
- Oversee onboarding, performance evaluations and continuous feedback
- Identify skill gaps and provide training to support growth and performance
- Foster an inclusive, communicative and team-oriented work environment
- Ensure proper staffing and readiness to meet customer and operational needs
- Promote safety culture, ensuring adherence to all safety policies and prompt resolution of issues
- Manage daily operations, prioritize tasks and monitor productivity and cleanliness
- Meet labor and expense targets while allocating resources effectively
- Track key performance metrics and implement improvements as needed
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with team members and site leadership
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5 years of operations experience with 2+ years in supervisory role in a manufacturing setting or 3PL provider
- College degree or comparable professional experience
- Strong leadership skills and ability to interact with, train and motivate a diverse group of personnel
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service and building lasting relationships through effective communication and follow-through
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and promoting a culture of safety and compliance
- Strong cross functional collaborator
- Software/systems: skilled with Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with JDE system a plus
