Some careers start with a job. Others start with an opportunity to learn, grow, and build something meaningful.
We’re looking for an ambitious and curious individual to join our Newcastle team as an Entry-Level Recruitment Consultant. This is an opportunity to build a career in recruitment from the ground up—developing the skills to connect exceptional talent with leading businesses, build relationships that matter, and make an impact on the decisions that shape people’s careers and organizations.
You don’t need to have all the answers or years of recruitment experience. We’re looking for someone with the drive to learn, the confidence to build relationships, and the resilience to keep pushing forward. With structured training, hands-on experience, and experienced people around you, you’ll have the opportunity to turn your potential into a career.
As an Entry-Level Recruitment Consultant, you will develop expertise across the full recruitment lifecycle while gaining exposure to both candidate and client-facing activities. You will learn how to source and engage talent, understand client needs, manage recruitment processes, and build the foundations of long-term business relationships.
Through structured training, hands-on experience, and ongoing mentorship, you will progressively develop the commercial, recruiting, and relationship-building skills needed to grow into a trusted talent advisor.
- Connect Talent with Opportunity: Identify and engage high-quality candidates through targeted research, compelling outreach, structured conversations, and relationship building.
- Partner with Clients: Support hiring managers throughout the recruitment process, developing your ability to understand hiring needs, communicate market insights, and contribute to effective hiring strategies.
- Own the Recruitment Process: Manage your assigned searches from initial requirements through sourcing, screening, submission, interviews, feedback, offer, and follow-up—ensuring a high-quality experience for both clients and candidates.
- Learn Through Data: Use recruitment technology, ATS systems, and performance metrics to track activity, understand market trends, and continuously improve your approach.
- Grow Through Collaboration: Work alongside experienced recruiters, researchers, and leaders, learning from their expertise while contributing to a collaborative, high-performance team.
You’ll be successful when you’re:
- Building strong recruitment capability across sourcing, candidate assessment, recruitment delivery, and client interaction.
- Developing quality talent networks by consistently building and maintaining relationships with relevant active and passive candidates in your market.
- Creating strong client partnerships by understanding client needs, communicating effectively, and delivering a positive candidate and client experience.
- Delivering with consistency through discipline, responsiveness, attention to detail, and a commitment to high-quality results.
- Contributing to commercial growth by developing the confidence and skills to engage clients, support business development, and grow accounts.
