Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the successful execution of a new build project. This role requires a strong background in project coordination, stakeholder management, and administrative oversight. The Project Manager will ensure the project is completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication.
- Vendor & Contractor Management: Oversee and coordinate the activities of contractors and vendors, ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines.
- Status Reporting: Collect and distribute regular status reports to stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Budget Management: Track project expenditures and ensure the project remains within budget constraints.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the hospitality or tourism industry.
- Proven experience managing new build projects from inception to completion.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, budgeting, and scheduling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
