Finance Manager
Talento has partnered with a joint venture organization with a strong portfolio of projects around the globe on a search for a Finance Manager based in Miami, FL. This person will report into the Director and play a crucial role in supporting the financial planning and decision-making processes for the organization. The Manager will have responsibility for financial modeling, analysis, planning, and forecasting and support project finance activities with the overall goal to drive the organization's financial success.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
- Analyze and interpret financial, market, and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and assumptions for accurate financial projections.
- Assist in the development and implementation of CAPEX and OPEX plans and budgets.
- Evaluate investment opportunities, assess risks, and recommend optimal allocation of resources.
- Analyze financial feasibility, payback periods, and ROI for potential capital projects.
- Provide accurate and timely financial analysis, reporting, and insights to support decision-making processes.
- Monitor financial performance, identify areas of improvement, and recommend actionable solutions.
- Prepare and present financial reports, variance analysis, and KPI's to stakeholders.
- Assist in the preparation of board presentations, investor communications, and other financial presentations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. MBA highly preferred.
- 4+ years as a Financial Analyst and at least 1 year in a Lead or Manager role.
- Advanced knowledge and experience building financial models, financial analysis, and capital planning.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting practices, and financial statements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced start up like environment.
- Comfortable and able to adapt to changing client needs and market dynamics.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
