Eastern Territory Sales Manager
Overview
TalentoHC has partnered with an industry leader in Sporting Goods to identify a dynamic Territory Sales Manager. This entrepreneurial company is renowned for its innovative, high-demand products sold through mass merchants and retail customers across the East Coast and they have aggressive growth plans for the future. The Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for promoting a comprehensive product catalog to mass merchants and key retail accounts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sales, a proven ability to grow market share, and exceptional presentation and relationship-building skills. This is a hands-on sales role with direct responsibility for key accounts — ideal for someone who combines strategic thinking with tactical execution.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand market share.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail customers and strategic partners.

Monitor and analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.

Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and execute promotional campaigns.

Prepare and present detailed sales reports and forecasts to senior leadership.

Manage sales budgets and ensure efficient allocation of resources.

Support and motivate a small team of sales representatives (as needed).
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.

7+ years of sales management experience within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry.

Demonstrated success in exceeding sales targets and growing retail accounts.

Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
Pay Range: $150-$180K (DOE-Depending on Experience)
