Overview

Talento has partnered with a global organization seeking a Logistics Analyst to support transportation, freight, and supply chain operations across domestic and international distribution networks. This role is responsible for analyzing freight activity, supporting logistics negotiations, coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, monitoring inventory flow, and assisting with warehouse and transportation operations.

The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working cross-functionally with suppliers, carriers, warehouses, and internal stakeholders in a fast-paced supply chain environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support domestic and international logistics operations, including ocean freight, trucking, warehousing, and distribution activities
  • Assist with freight analysis, carrier negotiations, and transportation cost optimization initiatives
  • Track shipments, inventory flow, and logistics performance to ensure product availability and on-time delivery
  • Maintain freight rate data, logistics savings calculations, and transportation reporting files
  • Support carrier selection, freight routing, and inbound/outbound transportation coordination
  • Monitor logistics KPIs and assist with vendor performance reviews for transportation and warehouse partners
  • Coordinate with suppliers, distributors, and third-party logistics providers to resolve operational issues and improve service levels
  • Assist with contract implementation, freight adjustments, and logistics budget tracking
  • Support inventory planning and container consolidation activities related to imported products
  • Maintain accurate transportation records, freight agreements, and operational documentation
  • Analyze transportation trends and recommend process improvements and cost-saving opportunities
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, procurement, operations, and external partners to support business objectives
  • Provide additional operational and analytical support as needed across the logistics function

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, distribution, or operations analysis
  • Experience supporting international imports, ocean freight, trucking, or warehouse operations preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with reporting and data analysis tools preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, vendors, carriers, and distributors
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-through and accuracy
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working with freight rates, transportation data, logistics KPIs, or supply chain reporting preferred
  • Positive attitude and strong team-oriented mindset
