Title: Associate Brand Manager
Location: Bristol, PA (Hybrid)
Employment Type: Contract – ~3.5 Months
Compensation: $33–$35/hr

About the Opportunity
TalentoHC is partnering with a leading global toy and consumer products company seeking an Associate Brand Manager to join its Girls Brand Team on a temporary leave-coverage basis. This role will support the management of a major licensed girls’ brand alongside other new and emerging brands within the division. This is a brand management role with a strong product-development component. The Associate Brand Manager will help move toy and product lines through the development cycle — ensuring products stay consistent with the brand and IP, hit key timelines, and resonate with consumers and retail partners. The role sits at the intersection of Product Design, Packaging, Marketing, Licensing, Sales, and Product Development, requiring someone who is organized, cross-functional, and comfortable keeping multiple projects moving simultaneously. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior brand or product professional looking to deepen their hands-on experience in licensed consumer products within a high-profile toy environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support product-line development across Girls brands, helping move SKUs from initial concept through development and launch
  • Track product-development timelines, milestones, and deliverables across multiple concurrent projects
  • Work cross-functionally with Product Design, Packaging, Marketing, Licensing, and Sales teams
  • Coordinate licensor and IP approvals, ensuring products adhere to brand and style guidelines
  • Conduct competitive, consumer, and trend research with a focus on the toy and Girls category
  • Analyze sales and POS data by product, SKU, and retailer to identify opportunities
  • Help maintain brand decks, line plans, sales materials, and presentations
  • Gather input from Sales and help prepare for retailer and key-account presentations
  • Communicate project status, changes, issues, and next steps across the organization
  • Support brand consistency across product, packaging, and marketing touchpoints
  • Assist with costing, item information, samples, and other administrative components of product development

Qualifications

  • Approximately 2–4 years of experience in brand management, product management, product development, or a closely related role
  • Hands-on experience supporting physical consumer-product development — candidates with digital marketing or campaign-only backgrounds will not be a fit
  • Experience working in toys, licensed consumer products, kids/entertainment, or broader CPG strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with licensing and IP approval processes is a significant advantage
  • Strong cross-functional project management and organizational skills; comfortable managing multiple timelines simultaneously
  • Comfortable working with sales data, POS reporting, and retail-facing materials
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate across design, marketing, sales, and licensing teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with line plans, brand decks, or sales presentations a plus
