MEET THE ROLE: YOUR PURPOSE:
Responsible for delivering high-quality legal talent solutions to clients by combining specialized legal recruiting expertise, complex search execution, and strong client partnership. This role owns the search process from understanding client needs and developing a targeted search strategy to identifying, assessing, and successfully placing top legal talent in direct-hire opportunities.
The Account Executive serves as a trusted advisor to both clients and candidates, bringing market knowledge and a consultative approach to every search while contributing directly to account growth, client value, and the profitability of the Legal Search practice.

  • Lead complex legal searches: Own specialized searches, developing targeted strategies to identify and engage highly qualified legal professionals.

  • Deliver exceptional talent solutions: Identify, assess, and present high-caliber legal candidates aligned with the client’s technical requirements, culture, and business objectives.

  • Build trusted client partnerships: Partner directly with hiring managers and clients to understand their needs, provide market insights, and guide them throughout the search process.

  • Drive proactive talent sourcing: Build and maintain strong networks of legal professionals through advanced sourcing, market mapping, research, and engagement of passive candidates.

  • Strengthen the Legal Search practice: Contribute to client retention, account growth, and the continuous development of legal talent networks and market knowledge.

WHAT MAKES YOU THE ONE:
You bring:

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

  • 2–5 years of professional recruiting experience, with demonstrated specialization in legal talent acquisition.

  • Demonstrated experience recruiting specifically within the legal sector, with a strong understanding of legal talent markets, roles, and candidate profiles.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience managing complex, specialized, or hard-to-fill searches.

  • Proven experience delivering direct hire / permanent placements for clients.

  • Experience independently managing recruiting processes from intake through successful placement.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.

  • Nice to have: Previous experience leading, mentoring, or developing recruiting professionals.
     

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE

  • Strong knowledge of legal talent markets, legal functions, and specialized legal profiles.

  • Advanced sourcing techniques, including Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, database research, market mapping, and passive candidate engagement.

  • Proven ability to develop targeted sourcing strategies and talent pipelines for complex legal searches.

  • Strong understanding of direct-hire recruiting, candidate assessment, interview processes, offer management, and closing.

  • Experience using ATS/CRM platforms and recruiting data to manage pipelines and inform search strategies.

  • Ability to leverage market intelligence to advise clients on talent availability, search strategy, and competitive dynamics.
