About the Opportunity 

TalentoHC is partnering with a Fortune 100 telecommunications and technology company seeking a Legal Consultant II to join its Court Order Compliance Group within the Criminal Response Team. This role will be responsible for managing the end-to-end processing of law enforcement legal requests — including subpoenas, court orders, and search warrants — while supporting emergency response operations on a 24/7 basis. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in legal operations, compliance, criminal justice, or high-volume operational environments and a proven ability to exercise sound judgment under pressure in time-sensitive, high-stakes situations. This opportunity offers the chance to work at the intersection of legal compliance and law enforcement response, contributing to a critical operational function that directly supports public safety and the company’s regulatory obligations under federal law.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Communicate directly with law enforcement agencies regarding emergency and life-threatening situations on a 24x7x365 basis
  • Authenticate law enforcement personnel prior to releasing customer information in compliance with company procedures and applicable laws
  • Process subpoenas, court orders, search warrants, and legal requests for customer records
  • Document and manage cases from intake through resolution within internal workflow management systems
  • Handle high-volume inbound communications while exercising sound judgment under pressure
  • Escalate sensitive or high-risk matters appropriately to management
  • Review legal process documentation for deficiencies, accuracy, and compliance
  • Perform data entry, workflow tracking, and case management responsibilities
  • Manage multiple urgent matters simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail and confidentiality
  • Work independently in a fast-paced, operational

Qualifications 

  • 2+ years of experience in legal operations, compliance, criminal justice, investigations support, dispatch, or a related operational environment
  • Legal background, education, or experience preferred but not required
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to multitask in high-pressure situations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with sound problem-solving abilities
  • Comfortable managing high call volumes and operational workflows with minimal supervision
  • Proficient in data entry, case management systems, and general computer applications
  • Reliable attendance and schedule flexibility required; must be open to nights, weekends, and rotating shifts
  • Must be eligible to apply for Government Clearance

Hourly Pay Rate: $20 – $24/hr (Commensurate with Experience)
