Supply Chain Manager
Hybrid in Tornto (2/3)
Talento has partnered with a fast-paced organization is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to ensure consistent product supply, support promotional initiatives, and optimize inventory and distribution across a portfolio of food and packaging products. This role partners closely with procurement, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to balance cost, service, and execution while maintaining strong supplier performance and supply continuity.
Responsibilities
- Manage relationships with internal teams, suppliers, and distribution centers to ensure alignment and continuity of supply
- Ensure timely product availability, proactively identifying and mitigating supply risks
- Review and validate pricing, resolve discrepancies, and coordinate system updates
- Partner with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve supply issues and drive performance
- Collaborate on distribution strategies and logistics to optimize cost and efficiency
- Monitor supplier capacity, quality, and service levels
- Support demand forecasting and inventory planning activities
- Coordinate new product launches and promotional (LTO) timelines with cross-functional teams
- Communicate demand and promotional plans to suppliers to ensure production readiness
- Support inventory execution to enable successful product rollouts and depletion strategies
- Lead sourcing and negotiation for promotional items to achieve optimal cost and supplier performance
- Prepare and deliver supply chain updates to stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; advanced degree a plus
- 5–8 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or related field
- Strong negotiation, supplier management, and contract management skills
- Experience with forecasting, inventory management, and logistics coordination
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office tools
- Experience in food, QSR, or consumer products environments is a plus
- French proficiency is a plus
