The Role
As a Senior FP&A, you will play a pivotal role in our company’s financial planning, analysis, and performance management. You will be responsible for building and maintaining financial models, preparing budgets and forecasts, and delivering clear, actionable insights that help leadership make informed decisions. You will partner closely with Operations, Sales, and Leadership to connect financial results with business drivers, supporting both day?to?day decisions and long?term strategic planning.
How You Make an Impact
In this role, you will leverage your expertise in financial analysis, planning, and reporting to drive visibility into performance and support profitable growth. The FP&A Analyst will review, prepare, and maintain management reporting, build driver?based forecasts, and support strategic initiatives with rigorous analysis. You will provide analytical, forecasting, reporting, and project support to senior leadership, helping Talento scale effectively while maintaining strong financial discipline.
What you would be responsible for:
Financial Analysis and Reporting:
- Prepare and present monthly and quarterly management reports, including variance analysis versus budget, forecast, and prior periods
- Analyze revenue, gross margin, operating expenses, and profitability by business line, customer segment, and geography
- Develop and maintain detailed financial models for forecasting, scenario analysis, and sensitivity testing
- Provide insights on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales productivity, fill rates, gross margin per FTE, and operating leverage
- Ensure leadership has an accurate, timely view of underlying profitability and trends
- Partner with Operations and Sales to understand performance drivers and identify risks and opportunities
- Oversee the commission process, including the calculation, validation, and administration of commission payouts based on established commission percentages, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with company policies
- Partner with Finance, Payroll, and leadership to support timely processing and resolve discrepancies
Planning, Budgeting, and Forecasting:
- Support the annual budgeting process, including building driver?based revenue and expense models
- Lead or support monthly and quarterly forecast updates, incorporating the latest business assumptions
- Collaborate with cross?functional teams to align financial plans with strategic and operational goals
- Translate historical performance and pipeline data into forward?looking forecasts
- Assist in preparing materials for leadership and board presentations on budget, forecast, and performance
Business Partnering and Decision Support
- Serve as a finance partner to key functional leaders, providing analysis and recommendations on investments, hiring, and operating initiatives
- Build simple, intuitive dashboards and reports to track performance against key goals
- Support pricing, profitability, and ROI analyses for new clients, projects, and initiatives
- Analyze trends and identify areas to improve efficiency, margin, and return on investment
Business Performance Optimization:
- Help standardize and improve FP&A processes, calendars, and reporting processes
- Contribute to the design and enhancement of financial models, reporting tools, and data structures
- Help ensure data integrity across financial and operational systems
- Support the implementation or optimization of BI and planning tools as the function scales
Experience and knowledge requirements for the Senior FP&A
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field;
- 3–5 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or related financial analysis role
- Proficiency in financial modeling, statistical analysis, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to balance multiple projects at a time
- Fluent in English
