About the Company
Our client is a leading national agency based in Arlington, Texas, specializing in large-scale workforce solutions across the public and private sectors. The company has recently secured several major national contracts and are looking to grow their team. As part of their ongoing commitment to digital transformation, they have implemented Workday as their core Human Capital Management (HCM) platform. They are now seeking a Workday Manager to oversee the continued optimization and management of their Workday environment, ensuring smooth integration and functionality across their HR operations.
About the Role
The Workday Manager will be responsible for leading the Workday team and managing the day-to-day operations of the Workday HCM system. This role requires a seasoned professional who can balance hands-on technical expertise with strategic leadership. As the Workday Manager, you will work closely with HR, IT, and various business units to ensure that Workday is fully optimized to support the agency’s HR goals and workforce initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Workday team, providing direction on system enhancements, new module implementations, and ongoing support.
- Oversee the configuration, testing, and deployment of Workday HCM solutions across various modules, including Core HR, Compensation, Payroll, and Talent Management.
- Collaborate with HR and other stakeholders to analyze business needs, translating them into Workday solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
- Drive the execution of Workday-related projects, including system upgrades, process improvements, and new feature rollouts.
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of HR data, overseeing audits, validation, and compliance efforts.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for system issues, troubleshooting, and resolutions, working closely with IT and external vendors as needed.
- Develop and implement best practices and training programs for end-users to maximize system adoption and effectiveness.
- Monitor Workday updates and emerging functionalities, recommending and implementing system improvements to stay ahead of industry trends.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports to provide HR leaders with actionable insights into workforce data.
- Ensure the seamless integration of Workday with other systems and platforms within the organization.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Workday HCM with strong configuration and management experience.
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage teams and complex projects.
- Expertise in multiple Workday modules, including Core HR, Compensation, Payroll, and Talent Management.
- Excellent understanding of HR operations, with a track record of partnering effectively with HR and business leaders.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to balance multiple initiatives and deadlines.
- Workday certifications in relevant modules highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and proactive approach.
